Doris Miller: Doris has more than 25 years of experience in the medical field, including both clinical and research labs, primarily as a microbiologist. She joined the firm in 2000 and uses her extensive medical background to assist in case preparation, particularly in medical malpractice, wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases. She received a BS in Medical Technology from Michigan State University and completed an internship in Medical Technology from the University of Michigan Medical School. She is a registered Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

Tess Ugay: Tess was a legal assistant at the office of the corporate counsel for a utility company for six years in employment discrimination and immigration cases. She participated actively in their diversity program. In 2004 Tess worked for a law firm in Alexandria, Virginia in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy, personal injury and medical malpractice cases. She joined Sickels, Frei and Mims in 2006. For the past 5 years, Tess worked in civil litigation on a wide variety of personal injury and medical malpractice cases. She also has experience working with financial service providers and commercial enterprises.  In 2010, Tess received her Paralegal Certificate from George Mason University.

Aja Wonderley: Aja was a legal assistant for a law firm that handles commercial and residential real estate litigation among other areas of law. In 2006, she received her Paralegal Certificate from George Mason University. Aja joined Sickels, Frei and Mims in February 2009 and works in the areas of medical malpractice and personal injury cases.

Anita Lai: Anita worked for 4 years as a paralegal at a law firm that handled primarily commercial and real estate litigation.  She also has experience working with patent cases and investigating fraud claims submitted by financial institutions.  Anita joined Sickels Frei and Mims, PC in October 2011 and works in areas of personal injury cases and corporate matters.
